Each piece from Of Matter is shaped and finished by hand in our London studio. We take great care in crafting, inspecting, and packaging every order to ensure it reaches you safely.
1. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping costs and delivery options are calculated individually at checkout based on each product’s specific settings, dimensions, and destination.
- Processing Time: As our jewellery pieces are handcrafted or made in limited batches, orders are typically prepared and dispatched within 2 to 5 business days. If a piece is made-to-order, specific lead times are noted on the product page.
- UK Domestic Delivery: Sent via tracked courier service (e.g., Royal Mail Tracked). Tracking details will be emailed to you upon dispatch.
- International Delivery: We ship worldwide with full tracking and signature options. International delivery times vary depending on the destination (typically 5–12 business days).
- Customs & Import Duties: For international orders outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.
2. 14-Day Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your selection. If you wish to return an item, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Return Conditions:
- Items must be returned in their original, unworn, and undamaged condition, with all original tags, packaging, boxes, and pouches intact.
- Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage (unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect). We strongly advise using a tracked and insured postal service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Earrings: Due to hygiene and health regulations, all earrings and pierced jewellery cannot be returned or exchanged once dispatched, unless defective.
- Custom or Bespoke Pieces: Made-to-order, personalized, or custom-sized pieces cannot be returned.
3. How to Request a Return
- Email us at [email protected] within 14 days of delivery with your Order Number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for return.
- Our team will review your request and provide the return address and instructions.
- Securely package the item in its original box and send it via a tracked postal service.
4. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our London studio, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
5. Damaged or Faulty Items
In the unlikely event that your piece arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at [email protected] within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the item and packaging, and we will promptly arrange a replacement or full refund.
